A federal judge declined to order California officials to return money they seized from a Glen Ellyn businesswoman to cover the state taxes she allegedly owed on online sales of children’s clothing.In a written opinion, U.S. District Judge Edmond E. Chang of the Northern District of Illinois also declined to enjoin officials from seizing any additional funds from Isabel Rubinas while she challenges the state of California’s authority to collect taxes on the online sales she makes to California residents.Chang …
