Models’ image suit against strip club gets OK

Two professional models got the go-ahead to pursue a lawsuit accusing a strip club of using their images without their permission to promote itself.In a written opinion last week, U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Kendall declined to dismiss claims of false advertising and false endorsement that the models brought against the Lamp Liter Club outside Ottawa in LaSalle County.The suit alleges the club posted an image of Tiffany Toth-Gray on its Facebook page in February 2016 with the caption “WET YOUR WHISTLE WEDNESDAY: …
