Divided board affirms sanction, discipline for Des Plaines attorney

An attorney discipline hearing board was correct when it found that a Des Plaines attorney did not steal from his client’s disability payments, a majority of an Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Review Board decided.However, the other charge against the man will stand.The ARDC Hearing Board previously recommended Michael Conrad of Conrad & Associates be suspended for six months, which would be stayed by one year of probation with conditions, for converting funds from a different client.
