SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois State Board of Elections held a public meeting Wednesday to explain how its new Cyber Navigator Program would be implemented.The cyber security plan includes hiring nine specialists who will travel the state assessing vulnerabilities in the 108 election jurisdictions.The plan was developed after the 2016 election when 76,000 state voting records were compromised.
