Marc Karlinsky is the editor of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, a title he's held since February 2016. Prior to his current position, Marc spent time as the publication's interim editor and assistant editor and as a reporter at the Daley Center bureau. He began his career with the company in January 2013 as an intern in the statehouse bureau while completing a master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield. Marc was awarded a 2015 Lisagor Award for Best Deadline Reporting.
A native of Vernon Hills, Ill., Marc earned a bachelor’s degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland. Outside of work, Marc is active with the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, where he currently serves as president of its Young Leadership Division. He's also president of the Chicago Terps Alumni Network, the local chapter of the University of Maryland Alumni Association.
