Appearing before the Supreme Court of the United States as an advocate is a difficult endeavor for many reasons. A relatively small number of certiorari petitions are granted, and the court bar is relatively small, with many repeat advocates. But last week, fellow past Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Chair Jonathan Amarilio did just that.
