Coach accused of sexual assault may lose citizenship

The U.S. Justice Department is seeking to revoke the American citizenship of a former Olympian and gymnastics coach accused of sexually abusing female students for years.In a complaint filed this week in federal court in Chicago, the department alleges Jose Vilchis repeatedly assaulted at least three minor girls beginning as early as 1985.The girls ranged in age from 12 to 16 when the abuse began, the complaint alleges.It alleges Vilchis was training two of the girls at the Beverly Gymnastics Center in Chicago and the …
