An insurer has no duty to represent a plaintiff’s lawyer in a post-trial motion that would deny him his cut of attorney fees, a state appeals panel ruled last month.The 1st District Appellate Court found that Illinois State Bar Association Mutual Insurance Co. need not defend lawyer Mark E.
