State high court disbars eight, suspends 12, some out-of-state

The Illinois Supreme Court disbarred eight attorneys and suspended 12 others in the latest round of disciplinary orders issued by the high court. The orders were entered late last month.Disbarred Robert M. Gold-Smith, of Justice, was disbarred on consent after being convicted of solicitation of murder for hire, aggravated battery, violation of an order of protection and communicating with a witness.
