A federal judge on Tuesday rejected the civil rights claims brought by the estate of a man who was killed in a struggle with police officers in far north suburban Zion.U.S. District Judge Edmond E. Chang found that Zion police officers Steven Vines and Nathan Hucker had qualified immunity from civil rights claims after Vines shot and killed Charles Hollstein as he fought with Hucker.In reaching this finding, Chang granted summary judgment to the officers and the city of Zion.
