SPRINGFIELD — Months after Rep. Lou Lang was accused of harassment and intimidation which lead him to step down from his leadership positions, the Skokie Democrat resigned from his job as a state representative.Lang, who served in the Illinois House of Representatives since 1988, announced Monday he left his post as a lawmaker last Wednesday to join a consulting and lobbying firm.Lang ran unopposed and won re-election in November.
