A federal judge threw out a proposed class-action lawsuit accusing Google LLC of invading the privacy of people whose photographs are scanned to create templates of their faces. In a written opinion, U.S. District Judge Edmond E. Chang held plaintiffs Lindabeth Rivera and Joseph Weiss do not have standing under Article III of the U.S. Constitution to pursue their claims against Google.
