AARP survey shows state finances worry residents

SPRINGFIELD — The results are in from a statewide survey and it shows many Illinoisans aren’t happy about where the state stands fiscally.AARP Illinois, the state chapter of the group formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons, released its 34-page statewide survey Tuesday. The survey polled registered voters age 25 and older on their thoughts about the trajectory of the state’s finances.
