A Cook County judge has been removed from his courtroom duties until further notice after a surveillance camera captured him dropping a gun in the lobby of Leighton Criminal Court Building.The disciplinary measure followed a July 3 incident at 26th and California where Associate Judge Joseph Michael Claps picked up a handgun that fell out of his jacket onto the floor.
