When it comes to business and insurance matters, Kristen Hudson is considered a trusted advisor.

Hudson, 39, has been a partner at Schopf & Weiss since 2010 representing parties across the United States in a wide range of complex business disputes. A graduate of the John Marshall Law School, Hudson focuses on complicated business litigation and on maximizing the recovery of insurance proceeds for her policyholder clients, for whom she has successfully recovered millions of dollars. She is admired by clients for building strong relationships and breaking down the complexities of insurance into understandable terms.

Attorney Roberta J. Benson, of Benson Maston PLLC in Austin, Texas, has served on the opposite side of Hudson on numerous client matters, and has also collaborated with Hudson on a CLE presentation for an American Bar Association conference. She has served as a volunteer with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services since 2003 including serving on CVLS’ Board of Directors. Kristen has volunteered as a guardian ad litem in minor and adult guardianship cases, is vice-president of the Chicago Bar Foundation’s “Investing in Justice” Campaign, and leads her firm’s pro bono and community service projects.
