Illinois Supreme Court retirement reshuffles 1st District bench

The announced June retirement of a longtime Illinois Supreme Court justice has prompted a reshuffling on the 1st District Appellate Court bench.The Illinois Supreme Court on Thursday assigned Cook County Circuit Judge Carl Anthony Walker to the 1st District Appellate Court. He’ll take over the caseload of P. Scott Neville Jr., who the high court appointed to succeed retiring Justice Charles E.
