Reversing the usual sequence for respondents in discovery, Prinova Solutions named John Witterschein (d/b/a Process Technology LLC) as a respondent — under Section 2-402 of the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure — after a DuPage County judge dismissed Witterschein, without prejudice, as the defendant in a contract case involving allegedly defective food processing equipment.The judge let Witterschein out as defendant because the seller listed in the sales contract was a foreign firm — Process Technology …

Arizona high court rolls back clock to 1864 in abortion case
