A Cook County jury’s $3.5 million award for the family of a teen who police shot and killed in 2011 will be reinstated after a state appeals panel found Tuesday that a question posed to jurors was not “absolutely irreconcilable” with the verdict.Priscilla Price, Niko Husband’s mother, filed a wrongful-death lawsuit in 2011 against the city of Chicago and Chicago police officer Marco Proano after her son was fatally shot by police outside of a South Side dance party.After a 2015 trial before Cook …
