AG seeks public input on CPD consent decree

The Illinois Attorney General’s Office launched a new website Monday to provide details about the consent decree entered with Chicago over police reforms.The site says it aims to collect public input on what measures or reforms should be implemented. A draft version of the consent decree could be available for public comment by this summer, the site adds.“Many residents have expressed their hopes and concerns about public safety and the Chicago Police Department,” Attorney General Lisa M.
