Truckers’ suit on out-of-state wages revived

A state appeals panel earlier this week revived the lawsuit filed by two Illinois-based long-haul truckers who are seeking $2,924.22 in wages for three out-of-state trips they made to Portland, Ore., in 2015.Plaintiffs Kenneth Watts and Gavie Wofford sued Grandville, Mich.-based ADDO Management LLC and Schaumburg-based BDJ Trucking Co. — and both companies’ owners — for allegedly violating the Illinois Wage Payment Collection Act as well as breach of contract and unjust enrichment.Cook County Circuit …
