Indiana fetal-remains law to get 7th Circuit review

A federal appeals court has agreed to reconsider a challenge to an Indiana law regulating the disposal of fetal remains following an abortion or miscarriage.A majority of the active judges serving on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals voted Friday to grant a petition filed by Indiana officials for a rehearing en banc.The full appeals court will rehear arguments over the constitutionality of a provision of House Enrolled Act No. 1337 (HEA 1337) that directs how abortion providers must dispose of fetal remains if the …
